Madeline at 3 years old below. Madeline now 15 will be paddling this very same kayak Solo on her own as we travel down the Mississippi from the Headwaters.
She spent many hours up in the front of the kayak - now she is a full paddling partner carrying her own load. I feel blessed to be her father and have the opportunity to share this trip with her before she moves on to the next stages of life.
